I Cannot Live In My Own House

This morning my back was hurting, so while I waited for the chiropractor to open so I might possibly make an appointment for ASAP, I decided to work from home.

Then the neighbor’s dogs started barking. They started barking at 07:32. And they did. not. stop. So I decided to get dressed as quickly as possible and walk to work, despite the back pain. I made it half-way down the block and had turn around in agony. So I decided to drive because I could not walk to work and I could not stay and live IN MY OWN HOUSE BECAUSE I AM BEING ASSAULTED BY MY NEIGHBORS. So, crying in misery, shaking in pain, I stumbled into the car and drove the 2 minutes to work.

I WANT THE NOISE TO END. PLEASE GOD, LET THE BARKING STOP! I’LL DO ANYTHING AT THIS POINT!! CAN I TAKE A PILL THAT MAKES ME DEAF?! CAN I BUILD A 15-FOOT HIGH NOISE WALL AROUND MY PROPERTY?! I WILL DO ANYTHING!!!

Save It

Ya see, folks, Bannon may actually be a strategic genius. The more he gets people stirred up and upset over everything that he’s doing, the more people get fatigued that much faster and the sooner they give up and give in. “Fuck it,” people say. The farther Left you are, the faster you get exhausted, which is exactly what he wants.

My advice is: pick one cause about which you care the most, and FIGHT FOR THAT WITH EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT. Deprioritize everything else and quite possibly you should turn off the news and newspapers and TV. They’re strategically using it to their advantage — like I said, genius!

My cause is global climate change. I’m doing everything I can because, quite frankly, if we don’t have an inhabitable planet, there will be — literally — nothing left to fight for. I will speak up on those issues not because I do not believe in the others, but because I must be able to hang in the fight for as long as possible.

“Excellent…”

That is what I imagine Steve Bannon is thinking in his head as he watches the establishment start to crumble down around him. He’s no fool. He is a smart, strategic person who — unfortunately for us — does not represent the most positive aspects of America. And, as a double whammy, he’s basically in charge of the whole country. Trump is his fool and he knows it. Bannon’s playing him like … some kind of ancient instrument that you breathe into and out comes a lot of hot air and loud, unpleasant noise.

Anyway, here are my predictions for the future. Continue reading ““Excellent…””

New blog host

It was relatively painless to move from my self-hosted blog at https://blog.rosenberg-watt.com/ to the WordPress.com-hosted one here at https://philrw.wordpress.com/. All of the content is the same (with the exception of a few videos nobody ever watched, anyway), and now I don’t have to worry about uptime and such: the folks at WordPress.com will do that for me.

So the web site address is new: make a note of it. Other than that, it’s still the same old boring website. If you’re following via RSS, you may want to update your URLs.
